Hi
An employee ran into the back of someone and has done some minor damage which I need to get fixed.
Probably the worst part is the slam panel, I've bent this back into shape and is pretty much spot on but I'm concerned (not knowing what a slam panel is for) that the slam panel is now weakened and wouldn't be able to take another impact, is the slam panel designed to absorb impact?
Looking on eBay I can buy the entire slam panel for less than £100, quick question though:-
1) does it bolt off and on (assuming I buy it complete)
The next bit I need to check, where the slam panel meets each wing it is bolted inside the engine bay to a piece of metal which runs alongside each wing, towards the front it has 2 x 90 degree bends and at the top (2nd 90 degree bend) the slam panel bolts to it.
2) can this be just straightened out?
The only other bit I need is a couple of headlights as the clips have broken which hold them in place
Thanks in advance
