Its my sad duty to report the death of my 2012 doblo activ 1.6 . It passed away on the 15th of February crushed by a tree ! In the two years I owned it I covered 110,000 miles. It was economical returning over 52 mpg on a trip to Poland. It lugged loads from furniture to motorcycles without complaint ..
So what went wrong during the two year's of ownership ? Very little , the tip of the dipstick came off in the engine ! (recovered with an oil change). At 80,000 miles the injector seals went and where replaced under warranty and thats it. Servicing was done to the Fiat schedule by a non franchised garage. It used no oil between changes .
To sum up the Doblo it proved to be great family transport and a great work horse , cheap to run , good on fuel and I will probably be having another one .
