Hi

i've had my 2006 Doblo for nearly 18 months now & it's time i changed something on it. I've been looking at new, bigger vans such as Transporters & Vitos but tbh i don't want to part with the cash even though i'm starting to run out of room in the back of the Doblo.

Anyways i've got 16" Stilo alloys fitted at the moment so i'm thinking of going for a more modern looking set of 17s. I've already got 10mm hubcentric spacers fitted so wondering how 17s will sit.

So who's got 17s fitted & have you any pics i can nosy at?

Craig

yes i run 17's on my doblo i have 225/40/17 tyres on them tbh they give a hard ride regards the ruts and potholes but i dont get the body roll if i'm driving it hard and handleing is much improved on bends etc. i dont have spacers as its better to have the tyres as central to the suspension as poss for effect

In the summer I run 17" alloys, 225/45 W94 tyres. Speedo accuracy is spot on. No spacers used. Front offside tyre can catch wheel arch liner if on full lock and suspension under compression from terrain or braking. wheels just remain within width of body/arches. Will tramline on B roads. Stiffer and less plush ride on average roads. Ride on smooth A roads and Motorways is great and quiet, feels much more modern. Works well with the bigger brake upgrade. Less roly poly handling. Doesn't affect the lock or steering effort required noticeably. Must take care in heavy rain.

Thanks but I sold my Doblo in March last year. Got a different van now. It's a 3 year old thread ?
