I still think it could be an electrical issue, if there are voltage problems, this engine will sit mute.
Crank & cam sensors have to talk to one another, so if the timing is out one or two teeth, the signals will miss. A bit like two doors have to be open to allow people to talk. If one door is closed, the people can't communicate.
I still say live data test. If the timing is spot on, I would be looking at the alternator, battery output, earth connections, ignition connections.....
Some people seem to concentrate on pump and such, but should really be more open minded.
If you were local, I would only charge if I managed to fix it. Where are you?
