I have read through the threads and have had a good look but i am struggling with a few things:

a) A step by step instructions of allowing me to take the MAF sensor wires off it seems pretty tight and not sure what to do.

b) which blank i need for the EGR (Doblo 52 Plate 1.9 JTD ELX) i've looked on ebay but none mention this model (please help)

c) how and where to fit this blank

Sorry if i've missed the threads that describe how to do these things but i did look, and couldn't find them

The MAF connector wires (plug) should be held in place with a small locking tab. The part you would normally press to unhook the plug, look for a small yellow tab. Pull that away gently using your finger nail (usually upwards a few mm) and you should then be able to press and unhook the plug.

I have never used a blanking plate, so not sure which one is best for your motor off ebay.

Why not ask the local college to make you one? I gather it should be a similar or perhaps 1 or 2mm larger than the mating face of the EGR valve, with bolt holes. My idea would simply be to place it between the mating faces, so everything is still "connected" but no gasses are being passed ;)

An EGR blanking plate transformed my car. I purchased it from a very helpful seller called Bertye on eBay. (I have no connection with him)

This one..

Sloper did any warning lights come up when u blanked it off?? I always stayed away from blanking plates on fords as they seemed flimsy and would in my opinion eventually burn threw, I looked for a full bypass but have found it difficult to conjure parts on tuning doblos, then again I suppose the only tuning they are used to is a tweed throw on the back seat! Don't take offense I'm 27 and mine has one lol
