Following on from an earlier thread concerning non-operating nearside flashers, the fault has been traced to a faulty multi function control unit. (The remote locking system is also faulty so that explains it). I assume the item in question is underneath a drop down flap on the driver's side? I really don't want to buy a new one if possible, (>£500, I think!), so I am currently searching eBay and local scrapyards. I have been told that if I manage to source a second hand one, then it might have to be 'coded.' What does this entail? Probably have to pay? Is there a way round this?
