Went to the shops this morning and when I came back to the car it just cranked with no signs of firing..

After a look under the bonnet, checking the fuel receipt to make sure it was derv..

Mentioned the AA and it sprung back to life..

There was an error code stored, "Crankshaft Sensor wiring malfunction"

Anyone had this? Whats the problem, like am I looking at an impending failure??

Any help would be much appreciated.

Oh, and where is the cranksaft sensor located please?
