Anyone taken the center part of the dash off? Doblo JTD ELX 2003. The bit that I'm trying to get off is the bit that has the heater controls.
I've taken off the plastic part under the steering column . The bit around the gear stick. Undone the two screws at the back of the radio housing. The center panel is now wibbly wobbly at the bottom but the top near the radio is quite fixed, with no real signs of anything left to undo apart from the whole dash. Any help would be great.

The reason for this adventure is that the heater blower will not blow. I've fixed the melted connector and the one on the blower. There is power at the fuse box, all the fuses are good, the relay is working , the motor works via 12v supply from battery. There is no power going to the resistor . There's no power anywhere near the motor. It will not spin at any speed. So in my way of thinking it's got to be the switch on the dash.
Any ideas would be just dandy.
Many thanks for any help as I really don't want to take the dash off as I always snap something.

In prizing out the two air vents above the heater control switch relieved two screws that enabled the removal of the center dash.:)
Time to test the switch. That will have to wait until the morning. So far nothing had snapped off!(y)

The story so far.. I still could not get to the heater switch so I had to take off the glove compartment to remove the one of the heater cables. This just gave me the room to remove the heater switch. The grey and black wire had melted onto the blue and red. This heat has melted the inside of the heater switch.
So if you just have a slightly melted block connecter near the fan get it sorted as it's a real pain in the Dash to sort out.
Funny no fuses like to blow!
I got a 4 speed switch off a punto from a scrap yard and the fan works at all four speeds, but alas no aircon.
Next thing is to repair the wiring harness to the switch. go down to the scrappers for a non melted connector for the switch. and find a switch that will do the job.
I've only had the car for a week and there's me thinking that the only big job to do was the cam belt.
Thanks for looking
