[Originally replied to this a some days ago but it looks like it never got posted].

Mrs_G's Doblo must be somewhere near to the 1/2 million now but in truth I can't prove it.

When Mrs_G was working as a courier she was doing a regular 500 miles per day run. When the Doblo odometer 'max'd out' at 248601 miles she used the trip odometer to record how far she went on each tankful. We kept a running total and serviced the van as required.

Fast forward a couple of years, Mrs_G has goes back into office work and the Doblo gets used to commute. She car shares, so it is only used every other week and does only 120 miles per week. At this point we stopped recording the mileage as I knew the van would now get serviced on a time basis rather than miles.

Jump forward to current position. The Doblo is pounding the motorways again ... by me. I still use my 2003 Iveco Daily as my main business vehicle but approximatley once a week my main customer has a 'small van job' of a higher value than any other run for my big van so Mrs_G uses my V70 to get to work and I take the Doblo. As an aside: The Iveco is now at 663,000 miles - original engine, gearbox, back axle etc. 1 clutch at 450,000 miles, the flywheel bearing was failing and as the clutch was removed to gain access I elected to have a new clutch even though the original was less that half worn.

So, in answer to the 1/2 million mile question, Mrs_G's Doblo is almost certainly getting close. Wahoo! (y)

Niall......:worship: can you get it checked at friendly dealer or someone with equipment that can read the ECU (it will be stored in Km) as i'm sure you must have the furthest travelled doblo.......in the world!!!!!

My old 1.9jtd cargo had 150k on and it ran like a dream , the 1.9 multijet I have now has only done 58k and it's cost way more in upkeep , and don't even mention the DPF .

Three weeks ago I was in a Doblo Taxi in Aberdeen that had done 350k and had just had its first flywheel/clutch. The owner double shifts it with another guy and he was reckoning on another year and 100k before it exceeds the local councils taxi age policy so will have to be changed.

my old doblo 54 plate is just short of 220k only on its second clutch and flywheel and still running

the newer model is a heap of crap
