Just wondering what milaege starter motors go at on the 1.9 dobbies.

my dobby has done 113k and had a massive amount of start stop driving on some trade work.. So much that I go through a flywheel every 30,000 miles.

Dont feel any problem..but its getting flywheel done, so on info gathering mission at to whether might be an idea to get a recon starter in hand while the garage has the flywheel off. I can always sell the starter on, if not required.

The garage just changed mine at 102k miles and found the knackered one was already a replacement for the original

190000, £170 for another one, a week later it would,t start again,turned out to be a corroded earth wire which I diagnosed after reading posts on this site,it was then just a matter of pointing it out to my mechanic, £10 for the repair

Mine was a collapsed bearing, apparently.
