I appreciate this topic has been discussed at length in previous threads but I have discovered a new problem with the doblo tailgate central locking.
When I first got my 2005 dynamic I found the usual issue of a stiff/sticky tailgate lock, after cleaning the old grease and relubricating, it then worked perfectly. Recently I noticed that again he tailgate would not lock from the keyfob, I again checked the boot lock mechanism but his time the lock and associated components all work freely, my suspicions were that the central locking motor for the tailgate had died, I removed it and tested it and it lives!, refitted to car but no joy:bang: I have checked voltages at the plug for the motor and all seems well. Today a friend of mine bought a 2007 family, it had he usual tailgate lock problem which I fixed for him with the trusted "mechanic in a can" method (y), I took the opportunity to swap the motors and mine works fine in his car, his does not work in mine
I'm a bit confused now as there is voltage to the motor but it does nothing, not even a Hint that it wants to work, any suggestions gladly received......

What voltages are you actually getting?

Mine doesn't work on one of my doblos but thats down to wiring between body and tailgate but I prefer physically turning the key and checking tailgate is locked myself as transport dogs.

Evening,
When I put my multimeter in the plug i get a rising 12v, kind of pulsed if you like, I get this 12v on one wire when button pressed and on other when button pushed again, makes sense as its energising motor to either extend or retract, lock or unlock. The voltage is present long enough to activate the motor in my opinion, I could be wrong though??

Hi again,
Not sure where the motor gets its earth from, I'd need a wiring diagram to see...., everything else electrical in the tailgate works fine?

Few pages from the central locking section of the Doblo eLEARN manual may help.
