Hi

My doblo goes into limp mode when I accelrate hard. If I switch engine on and off 4 times light goes out.

I read and article about a similar fault with VW TDi engines. In them the vanes in the variable vane turbo stick, and cause the turbo to overboost and it then goes into limp mode.

Has the 1.3 m jet got variable vanes on the turbo? Anyone know of any other cause for this?

I'd be checking the boost sensor first.

I preume that the sensor's output should change if measured at tickover then when revved hard.

yes, between 0.5-4.5v

Not yet. I have an old FCR that is not compatible with the Doblo. It just gives error when I try to connect it. I ordered a newer one last week, should arrive any day.
