I know you can buy tents etc that are designed to be used on roof racks - I wouldn't mind using the dobbin as a video platform so wondered if anyone knew just how much the old girl will take 'up top'?
I have a pair of rails (anchored at the corners & supported in the middle, presumably on a reinforcing bar under the roof skin) so I'd be looking to put a platform across the rails - like an aluminium platform that you find on small scaffolding towers.
