hi all, went to start my van earlier turned ignition on all lit up like a xmas tree,turned her over and didnt start so off n on again but this time no glow plug light and the 'vehicle protection system failure fiat code light' flashes and then stays on,however the key code symbol doesnt light up,just the vehicle with a padlock sign is lit up, van turns over ok but wont start,tried spare key all as above same thing. any ideas please ?

ps no code card with van as bought 2nd hand so i cant try the emergancy start proceedure :-(

hmm.......just paid fiat nigh on £40 for the code for my van and guess what ? it didnt fix the problem, so heres where i'm at just now, turn ign to mar dash lights come on except the injector (little engine)light and the glow plug light,then the system fail light flashes 3 times and stays on, i cant carry out the emergancy start proceedure as i need to count the injector light flashes to re-code the system and i've lost the glow plug light.
any ideas anyone please ?
