Hi,

I've got a few places on the bodywork which could do with the paint touching up.

It's that blue metallic (see photo)...any suggestions as to where I can get a can?

Cheers

Its really easy to make a complete mess of things with a spray can TBH. If the paint damage is minor (and I cant see it in the photo if its there) then I'd opt for the touch up brush, unless of course you are a dab hand at prepping, spraying & finishing off.

Thanks,

I'm OK on spraying...done quite a bit over the years. For very minor touching up I'll spray some of the aerosol can contents into the spray can lid and then use a small artist's brush to apply it. That works well.

The back door hinges have scuffed a bit and a quick spray would sort them out....Finding the right colour aerosol is my mission at the moment.

If u want the touch up stick code i will look it out and give you the number off it

I've got a white fiorino 58 plate,i simply went to a body repair centre, and they mixed me some white and put it in a spray can.
Cost £15 inc a tin of thinners to clean my brush out if i was just to touch in stone chips.
Luigi.

Hi,

Well I think I’ve got it sorted…eventually found the colour code on a sticker back left underside of the bonnet. Well hidden.

Turns out the code is 597 which translates into the colour “Blue Teseo”. A quick Google reveals that there are a few firms who will mix the right colour and put it into an aerosol.

www.paints4u.com is one and I think Halfords also do it….any of them any good?

Cheers

Ron
