Fault : Engine failure
Cause : Water pump failure leading to timing belt failure
Cure : Renew water pump with timing belt every 5 years/60K


Fault : Door open warning light on
Cause : Sliding door contacts
Cure : Plastic plunger in centre of contacts not fully depressed
when door closed. Stick tiny piece of plastic to plunger to pack it
out to ensure correct operation of ajar warning light.


Fault : Windscreen wipers not working
Cause : Intermittent operation due to column switch
Cure : Spray switch with contact cleaner or renew switch


Fault : Headlights not working/switching off by themselves
Cause : Intermittent operation due to column switch
Cure : Spray switch with contact cleaner or renew switch
