hi can anyone tell me how to replace bump stops on 1.3 family doblo diesel do they screw on or are they held on with nut at top thanks

I'm sure they're the same as on the 1.9. If so, they screw off. They'll be pretty tight. I used a hammer and an old screwdriver. I put the screwdriver in one of the little notches at hit it a few times to loosen it. Pretty easy job if you raise the rear of the car using a proper jack. (causing the wheel to move down in relation to the body of the car)

hi cphawk,

i've done this on our 2002 Doblo. Took me about 1/2 hour per side.

here is a pic of the part in situ -

as robin says, they do indeed screw off.
I used a hammer and a large screwdriver to tap them round until they loosened.

if you have not already bought them, mine came from ebay (redline car parts) they are the same as the Fiat Ducato ones -
FIAT DUCATO MAXI 18 94-02 REAR BUMP STOP OE QUALITY £21:32 each + postage.

let us know how you get on?
and if you need any help, just ask! (y)
