Hallo and Good Evening,
my Doblo Malibu 1,9JTD 2002 and me are newbies here and my first question goes to a really spectacular device: The ABS TEVES MK20. The ABS indicator-LED in the dashboard is permanently on and the faulty
component is the electric pump itself (OBD told me), which is attached to the hydraulic-block. Knocking to the pump case will change the inner resistance of the pump from 50 to 500 Ohms (an i.o. pump shows 1 to 5 Ohms). Unfortunately there is no offer of a spare pump, only new entire hydraulic-blocks. So, I'll try to let repair the pump by a specialist. Maybe it's crazy, don't know ...
Does anybody know what will happen if I remove the metal cap of the pump? Is there any brake fluid pouring out? In the next step, may I remove the pump from the block (of course I've to collect the fluid pouring out)?
Does anybody know a refurbisher for those ABS-hydraulic-devices like the above MK20 (not only for the ecu)?
Any idea appreciating, Hajo
