have a 1.3 multijet doblo. The engine management light came on and then car seemed to go into limp mode. No revs. This was while we were just driving through town. Car serviced about 3 months ago when I got the car. Anyone any advice as to what the problem may be, many thanks.

It could be many things and theres no point speculating what it might be.
When an engine management system gets a spurious/wild/faulty reading normally from sensors, it protects the engine by limiting everything, if its just a one off occurance a quick solution is to stop the engine and restart. If it happens many times then you should take it to a FIAT garage for fault codes to be read and diagnosed. Its probably cheaper and quicker to get a professional diagnosis first rather that start replacing parts willy nilly as inexperts might recommend.
