Help - filled my petrol Doblo to almost full, (yes, thought there was a petrol strike imminent) and have noticed the petrol gauge needle is stuck on almost full although I have done many miles. Before this, I always filled up to half full without any problems. What can I do to rectify this?

How many miles have you done? If you filled it right up to the brim then the fuel in the pipe is extra above maximum.

Agree with Robin. The float in the tank won't register the level of your fuel if you fill it right up until it has been driven for quite some distance. It will just show it as full. Depends on your mpg but our Punto diesel on a full tank won't start registering a drop on the fuel gauge for about 60 miles.
