Hi everybody, i'm new to using forums so i apologise in advance for any errors. I have followed various threads on here for some time but this is my first time posting. I have an 07 1.9 multijet turbo diesel Doblo which has done 158k taxi miles, it's been a good car but the last 7 months have been very frustrating. I had the engine rebuilt at 140k because of piston rings and a bottom end rattle, one big end had picked up. Ever since it has had a catalogue of problems. New turbo (twice) new EGR, new MAF sensor, new crank sensor. injectors rebuilt (one of them 3 times) and finally the DPF removed and a remap to cure persistant smoking. So now the big problem. If i accelerate normally the engine will cut out completely at about 2500 rpm, if i dip the clutch and try to bump start it no joy but if i switch off and restart it starts straight away with normal power. If I accelerate gently and stay below 2000 rpm it's driveable but with reduced power and after a few minutes use it goes into limp mode and will not rev over 2000 rpm no matter what you do. If i stop at a junction or lights for a short while with the engine giving normal power then when i pull away it will have gone into limp mode. If I stop the engine them restart it and rev it while stationery it will rev the full range as normal. The garage that did the rebuild is a Fiat agent (ex Fiat dealer) and is running out of ideas. Also with all this going on there are no warning lights on the dash and no error codes stored in the ecu. I've trawled through lots of similar threads on this forum but nothing seems to fit the bill. If anyone can suggest a potential cure I will be most grateful

Thanks Eugene
