I own 52 doblo with around 60,000 on the clock. Ive had it for almost seven months. Last month the driveshaft completely snapped resulting in the dealer fitting a reconditioned repalcement for £350. One week later the same symptoms occur. Calls up the dealer and they have it towed in and they tell me a clip for the driveshaft has failed. They fit a new clip free of charge. another week passes by and bang, same again. Calls the dealer and they have it towed back in and now the cv joint has failed and they charge me £90 for a reconditioned part and they tell me they havent charged me for the labour. Yesterday the steering goes really heavy and makes a banging noise from under the engine. Takes it to an independent mechanic who takes all of 60 seconds to tell me the gear box mounts are missing and the engine and gearbox are resting on the driveshaft. So once again I call the dealer and they tell me to bring it in which I do. I tell them an indepndent has dignosed the above. The dealer looks at it while I wait and they tell me the gearbox mounts are fine but the gearbox is knackered. They call me today quoting £1400 for a recond one or £1700 new. Vehical must be worth no more than 1200 tops. What do I do? :bang:

Take to another indie. If it really is bad & a 60 second diagnosis then they should be able to confirm or deny. Perhaps ask the indie if he can show you evidence of this and then how much to fix.
If it looks like he is correct, maybe get it done then seek compo from the dealer - maybe ask to hang around & take lots of pics before, during & after.
