Hopefully some of the knowledgable members on here can shed some light on this.
I have a 2007 fiat doblo dynamic multijet diesel.
A message has started apperaing on the dash saying "min brake" and what could be either liq. or lig.
Assumed it was liquid so checked resevoir, full, checked wires to reservoir couldn't see any breaks in them
Checked brake lights, all fine
It is accompanied by a couple of beeps and the handlight sign then tells me to stop engine, as i was on a dual carriage way first time it happened i didnt switch off engine.
The warning then disappears and comes on when it feels like.
Any ideas please?

Check the float in the cap of the brake fluid chamber is moving freely and not full of liquid (punctured).

sorry to be a complete tool but where do i see this. i looked under the lid, checked nothing had fallen off, then there is the filter in the cap neck which moved in and out freely

Fairly good image on here, few pages up from bottom. I assume you have two wires on the cap if so there must be a make or break float switch in the cap somewhere.

Also unscrew the cap and turn on the ignition to see if you get the same error message as before.
