We have a Doblo diesel 7 seat car.

Lately it seems to run rough especially when idling. The idle seems quite lumpy and slow. I wasn't sure if you could get timing problems on a diesel. Seems to be getting more noticeable.

There are no warning lights on

Should I take it to the garage or could it be the cold weather?

Is it urgent?

I'd get it checked pretty quickly, could develop to a worse fault (or could be ok), best to have it checked.

Thanks Robin.

We've had it checked. The computer didn't give them a clue! They've cleaned the fuel lines and say one of the engine mounts is broken. This will be replaced this week.

We also have had the fan belt replaced.

The cleaning didn't do the trick.

the engine mount might make it seem a little rough. Did they give you any other ideas to explore?

No apart from the cleaning.

They said fan belt needs to be replaced as car is over 1K Kms. Not sure if they have done that as my Spanish doesn't include motor terms!

I shall see how it goes after the mount is done.

OK we've had the engine mount done and the cleaning. Not sure if it's cured or not.

Apparently we need the clutch doing soon!
