Just sorted all this and is now working flawlessly, tried so many things and the one thing that worked was that i had to remove a resistor between pins 14 & 6 with a resistor labeled R04.

Well the reason i write on here about this is that when i have come to put the software on a running this through my old dobbin the one thing i was desperate to check was that due to recent instrument cluster removal i was determined to read the actual values of the ECU odometer. Well i am speechless once again...here goes.... :slayer:

Odometer Instrument Cluster Reading 76089miles.....
ECU odometer reading is 74600miles (120031.4km)

a difference of 1483miles??? Weird

so HOW ON EARTH CAN YOU REPROGRAM A PROGRAM THAT ONLY LETS YOU PROGRAM IT UP??
