Hi,the most likely cause is the wiper linkage rod on the passenger side has come off,check if you can gently move the wiper on the passenger side and if it moves independently of the drivers side. If so remove the black plastic cap on the wiper arm and check the securing nut is secure 13mm. If it is then its the rods adrift, can be refitted but will come off again, because the ball and socket on pivot are worn. Fiat don't sell rods only complete wiper assembly, but if you check on ebay an uprated kit is available,have fitted a few and had no more problems. Hope this helps John.

the rods are available as a kit for £30 quid on ebay. easy to fit etc... I replace my whole assembly after it failed at 220,000 got a cheap replacement from a super factors and it only lasted 18 month. But the kit is easily available to do the repair.
