newby my first post.doblo 19d..2001 non turbo. when starting and is ticking over (erraticly)it has a injector knock and a miss but when you rev it the engine runs smooth...its the lucas pump and delphi injectors.. thanks to anyone that can shed some light on this problem..

Hope it is the injector as the alternatives are the pump,notoriously bad or the ECU. Been through the whole gambit and spent££££'s

Sound, thanks for the reply, I did put a bottle of dipetane into the tank & remember it did make a difference. I'll clean the EGR valve & let you know how I got on
.
Only sure way to tell is to read the rotor positions of the pump, using appropriate diagnostic equipment of course.

first thing with all diesels is to clean the system change fuel filter and add injector cleaner my recomendation from years of experience is forte advanced fuel treatment after fuel filter changed

Having same trouble, garage diagnosed faulty pump, any ideas of best place to buy and cost. Cheers
