I can't think of an easy fix.

Perhaps you could fashion some kind of plate to put behind the nasty gaping hole?

Otherwise, some very clever welding. That probably won't be that strong though. A new door would be easiest but probably not what you had in mind.

As Robin said. If you can access the inside of the door, I'd be tempted to chuck in a meaty bit of metal to fix those bolts to, and give plenty of support above and below the fixing points.

The door cards are easy enough to remove (I had to access the window motor on mine recently), and you should see enough clearance to fashion a support plate inside as previously suggested.

Is that one half of a rear door? I'd say door from a scrappy might be the cheapest long term solution.

Judging by the light switch , I'm assuming Front right ( drivers) door..

Correct and thanks guys. Looks like the previous owners kept letting the door go without grabbing the handle and the wind took it, damn thing just let go
