Bought a used Doblo 2008 have full service history but a lot of miles 180000, One of the problems I have is the passenger side carpet is wet and after a big down pour got realy sodden, It is a high top does anyone know where the water is coming in can't see where. Could it be the door seal. please help

Hmmm, how is anyone remote going to know where water is getting in?

Best bet is to remove the carpet, wait until the floor is dryish, then get the hose out on the car and selectively give it soaking, ie one window at a time. See if you can see where the water is getting in. Also check ariel, and any vents, check plenum chamber drains.

Ok was going to try that anyway, Just wondered if it was a common problem

Yes, very common. Both of my high roof Doblos leak in exactly the place you have described - i.e. it drips down on the passenger's left knee the day after a downpour when you turn a corner. But then again both cars were ex-taxis so have an extra aerial, so that might be the problem

There are a few marques where it is common for the window seal to deteriorate in the corner, so allowing water ingress. Seems quite common for the water to pour into the passenger footwell.
You can add a dye to water which glows under UV, pouring this over the windows in the right area should allow you to look under the dash & trace the leak to source.

hi i am new to this replying to other peoples problems .The water leak on my doblo took some finding Remove the windscreen wiper linkage cover on passenger side The fault was found to be the self tapper screw next to the windscreen piller the screw went though a plastic grommet which did not fit the hole hence the water leak Filled the gap with mastic job done .The water was running of the edge of the windscreen and down the gap between between winscreen rubber moulding and the cover plate then down the screw Hope this solves the problem Signed dog man
