Hi Im Neil,

My doblo 1.2 sx 2002 suddenly started running badly a few days ago and the engine management light came on, i got someone to plug a fault code reader tool into the computer and it said 'cynlinder 1 misfire'..

So I started by changing the sparkplugs which didnt help, then i switched HT leads around to see if it could be faulty leads but the leads seem ok too. I noticed that it was only running on 2 cylinders so then thought it was the ignition coil, so i fitted a new ignition coil and its still the same, which now seems to narrow it down to a faulty ECU?

Can anybody let me know if this is the likely problem..? Thanks.

look in the punto guides section, I done a diagnostic routine for coil/ecu testing (it's the same set up)
