hallo everyone
after 210000km i got a time chain break and i cant belive it.I am a salesman and one of the reasons i own a doblo is t chain because it never brakes or better you dont change it in every50-70 thousand km.
And i cannot accept an answer of the local fiat service that was a buad luck or a construction error,because in the last 10 years i change 5 cars with more than 200k km each whithout any t chain prob.
So if the 1.3 multijet motor is as they say top, i find out that also in other brand where is used this motor they have same problems so:bang: near 1000 euro i pay was not my fault but fiat construction of this sucks .
Also probs with engine error ,are every week after the 1st year.
i d rather advice not to buy it.

Sorry to hear that, but 210,000km is a lot, its going to break sometime.

chains stretch and tensioners wear!

Seem to be plenty of astra van owners moaning too. I guess its the lower gearing and high motorway speeds that cause the problem. Plenty of pandas around with atleast that mileage and still going.

My mate was gutted when his golf vr6 chain went at 150k but he ignored the rattling.
