My 2001 1.9d has a poorly engine ( slipped timing belt ) it starts and runs like a bag of nails, but i feel the best route will be to fit another engine, can someone confirm the same engine is fitted to a mk2 punto 1.9d of the same year? the engines look the same and are both 8v non turbo, but the punto seems to have a slightly different rocker and inlet setup? would these just be interchangable?

hi i may be getting shot of my dobby 1.9d 53 plate taxi with 165,000 on the clock & a oil leak ( about 1/2 a pint of oil a week ) but the engine is as strong as an ox & the timing belt was done at 149,000 & obviously the rest for spares. pm me if interested as classifieds aren't to be talked about in this section:devil::devil::devil:
