Have just enquired about a 72000 mile service for my 1.9 diesel Doblo 5 seater '07 plate. I have been informed that it is the cam belt service. I still think £957 is a little steep. I also need new rear suspension bushes which they could'nt even find a price for.
I've bought cheaper cars than the price quoted and they have run well for ages.
Any views?

If it were me I would :-

1) Identify the parts and materials needed and shop around and negotiate for the best price.

2) Get quotes for labour from both Fiat garage and Independents as suggested above.

At least then you have identified a number of options and can make an informed choice. I would probably shop around for 'genuine' parts and good quality oils etc. and supply to a trusted independent for a 'cash job' if they were wiiiing but that's just me.

Have you tried paul at F for Fiat in Aylesbury? He's a great guy, knows his stuff & won't rip you off.
