Is there an easy way to change a doblo jtd air filter, does the canister come apart ?
The three screws on top are really fiddly, advice please

I would spray those screws/fiddly bolts with penetrating fluid or WD40 at least as they break/shear very easily.No easy way i'm afraid.

What about undoing the two nuts holding the air filter canister to the bracket that might give me some more elbow room?

there is hole (yellow marker) where you can get through with a extension for your tool and easily turn out this damn screw (cheap quality as most screws on the doblo).



It takes some might to pull the cannister away, clean it from leaves and dust and then put in the new filter

I'll give it a try again tonight if the weather stays fair!

Done it at last, nice evening up here in Scotland, I lost my only 7mm spanner down inside the suspension-not found it yet. The secret is to loosen the filter bracket so the filter van wiggle about, and use a long extension to remove the screws, as it happens the filter was black-probably the first change! Only took me an hour and a half!!! ( a 5 minute job on a mondeo)
