i have recently put a deposit down on a doblo that i like the look of and its ticks all the boxes with regaurding specs, the dealer doesnt seem bothered about selling a car to me the car is at a different branch but is part of the same group.

im getting fed up as it will be 3 weeks on thurday since i placed the deposit, i have had a look on autotrader and found a better spec doblo the one with 120bhp and its got tinted windows.the only problem i have its 200 miles away from were i live, what are the pros and cons of buying a car a long way from your home with regaurds to warranty and getting the car fixed if anything goes wrong. i tend to buy a car and keep it for 5 or 6 years or untill it falls apart, buying a car seems to be a bit stress full at the moment. matt

can still take it to any fiat dealer for warranty repair.

if it is brand new it will have to be brought out of shipping mode and this must be done at a fiat dealer so make sure its done or given discount/cashback to get it done however i'm dubious of non-franchise PDI's.

the doblo is for sale at a non fiat dealer

got my money back on the first doblo i saw, made another offer on a doblo in london, been down to the city on the train today to view the car and decided it was what i wanted, techno grey metalic with the 120bhp 1.9 multijet dynamic comes with tow bar, roof bars and tinted windows,18000 miles 2007,thanks for the replies:)

excellent.....pics please:)

its the best car i have driven so far, i tend to keep a car and run it to the ground but i think this will out live me.:D

id like to fit a set of roof rails that run down the length of the roof as i have the bars that go across the car from my old astra estate.
would it be best to go down the route of everything in black or add a bit of chrome to it. has anyone got links to aftermarket accesories please.

next on the list is a new head unit to plug a mp3 player and take bluetooth for phone,im not that good with techical stuff more of a practicle man.

wen i woke up this morning i just felt like ringing in sick and going driving in the doblo somewere, i had some fun watching the fuel computer go to 75mpg this morning going to work doing 50mph in 5th gear.

matt:D:D:D
