hi folks, you may think the following is old hat but I have been driving for 20 years mainly Skoda's but I have now got a Fiat Doblo. Brilliant, yes I know there are better cars but this just suits our pocket (we are on our pension). It is a 1.9jtd with 84000 miles on the clock.
The problem is as folows. 2 weeks ago I heard a squeeling noise when I started to move off, the noise stoped when I got going. Then I noticed steam coming from the front. It went into the garage and they said it was a hole in the seal around one of the injectors.
Iv'e had a new radiator put in and the injector sorted out.
We did 70 miles and now there is no water and the squeeling is worse.
Has any one got any ideas?????????

Squeeling can be caused by a loose incorrectly tensioned fan belt, quite often when the altenator needs a bit of power, ie when first started. Water pump if the bearings are gone can rattle about. Could be lots of things really.

Yes. It could mean that the aux drive belt and tensioners need replacing. Or it might only need adjusting.

Take it in to a garage that knows what it is doing. This weather can have an effect, but only for a second or two; if the squeal lasts longer than that there is probably something that needs fixing.

I have had an annoying squeal on my Doblo which I linked to engine movement (on it's mounts). The noise would go after driving for a while.

Sounded like it was coming from right beneath me. The engine mounts are all nice and tight but the rubber was squeaking/creaking. A bit of silicone grease and no more noise.

Doblo clutch

Anyone had trouble with the clutch on the Doblo?
The squeeling noise I have seems to come from the side where the clutch is.
The car pulls of with no slip or anything , just this horrible noise.
