hi guys newbie here with a couple of questions
currently im driving a 03 fiat doblo cargo dsx 1.9 diesel its a good little van has given a few problems but no more or less than other makes and models but one gripe i have is that it really is a drag to drive.... fred flinstone would go up a hill faster than my doblo!!
im not looking for a sports car but it really is very underpowered i dont carry heavy loads and i would dread to think how bad it would be if i did anyhow im looking at changing in the new year and im thinking of buying a 1.3 multi jet from motorpoint uk
now a cpl of questions it doesnt have any central locking on this model or abs is it possible to fit a remote central locking system? and can the brakes be updated to abs? another question i have is has anyone bought from these guys motorpoint before? and will the manufactures warranty be valid in ireland and just one more would there be a little bit more zip in it than the one im currently driving

Yes. You see, maybe yours has an easily fixable fault. Other than that, the 1.3 is supposedly much quicker than the basic non-turbo 1.9, which is known to be very slow, and thirsty. As for the anti-lock - it can't be retro-fitted, and central locking is pretty much the same as far as I know. By the time you'd done all this, if it were possible, you'd have been better of getting the more recent and fully equipped car in the first place.

You can Google up performance figures, and everything else, for all the cars you looking at by reading the various road tests.
