It's not officially released yet, but I'm sure details will keep leaking out.
From what I've read it looks like a similar engine range, plus the 1.6 Diesel.

I just hope all the engines are the latest Multijet2 and Multiairs though. That would entice me.

The front just doesnt work, fine on a Grande Punto but not a biggish van.

The current Doblo is fine as a van and cheap people mover so there will only be a small facelift to justify competively high pricing. Remember there will be the 5/7 Seat multipla replacement coming out relatively soon and this needs to take the majority of the sales for an MPV fiat as it will have far more development money to re-coop.

It does seem that Citroen have gone a bit over the top with the Berlingo/Partner. Although slightly more spacious it is priced up there with 3008, Picasso, Scenics etc...

And they changed the only thing they shouldn't have - the door mirrors. The new ones are much smaller.

I'm not sure it's uglier, but I agree about the mirrors. And they have repeaters on them in the current fashion; very useful that when they get swiped. And the round air vents on the dash have gone too

My real concerns are with the wiper mechanism, the auxiliary belt drive and the clutch mechanism: all weaknesses with the present car which may so easily be carried over. Oh, and wind noise around the front screen/doors -mirrors??

My hope is that since they've bothered fitting new rear suspension, and really only tarted up the interior and exterior, they may have spent some of the money sorting out the bits that really matter.

I think that in the right colour... if it's still as practical...
FIAT may have a customer when the time comes...

I like it, it looks much better then the new Partner and Berlingo and even the new Kangoo (which I used to like a lot). I hope it comes with the possibility to be fairly equiped, 2010 level, that is with windowbags, clima, VDC, maybe a panoramic roof. If it does, and the price for the base version will be the same (that is without all these extras), it will kick the hell out of the competition. I'd enjoy the 1.6 MultiJet and the 1.4 T-Jet also, the 1.9 MultiJet is quite old and the 1.4 Fire, well, not really up to the challenge.

Otherwise, I the new Doblo...

Later edit: I've just seen the new interior, and I don't like it. It's better quality, but it looks like a crap german VW interior, no personality at all... And it seems that the gear lever has been lowered, and that's sad...
