Hi folks.
I desperately hope somebody can help me out?! after handing over a shed load of money to my local dealer my 2002 1.9d Doblo stil isn't running properly!. She starts fine every time but often stalls straight away, this seems to make no difference if the engine is hot or cold, the EML is often displayed just before this happens? while driving I can also feel the revs going up and down of their own accord, especially at lower revs? my local dealer recently fitted an rpm sensor, which fixed the problem for about a week, a flow modified throttle valve, which fixed the problem for about a week! and removed a blockagege in the t piece on the vac pipe, which again, temporaraly solved the problem which now seems to be worse than ever?! can anybody help me please? I'm at my wits end and reluctant to take my little van to the main dealer only to be fobbed off and stung in the pocket for the privilage!
Yours hopefully, Will.

I would be taking the car back to said garage & insisting they fix the problem - at no additional cost.
You took the car in, gave them a list of faults, they charged a fortune yet have clearly not fixed anything.
It shouldn't be that difficult for a garage to diagnose a fault, they are, after all, supposed to be experts & that is why they charge such exhorbitant amounts of money.

I had similar problem with my 01 1.9 doblo. After the garage trying the fuel filters and housing came to the conclusion it was the fuel pump. Air or dirt is getting in the way of the correct mixture, the pump tries to compensate (revving up + eml coming on), can't compensate and cuts out. Made for 'interesting' driving on roundabouts. My diesel specialist cleaned the actuators from the pump and it seems to be running better than before. That might be a road to go down.
I would definitely kick up hell at the garage - they should be able to sort this first time...
