Had a horrific drive up a cold, wet motorway in Mrs O's Doblo, at the weekend. The only way to keep even the windscreen clear, was to have the heater on full blast, or add aircon.
A suggestion on another forum (not Fiat) was to change the pollen filter. Anyone think this might help? Any other suggestions, please?
If I have to change the filter, where is it, please?

Many years ago a friend of mine had similar problems in a Mondeo - the cause was a blocked pollen filter.

On Mrs_G's Cargo the filter is accessed from inside the car. Passenger side, under the dashboard. Look for a rectangular panel held in with 2 screws, approx above where the passenger's feet would be. A simple 2 minute job.

Might be worth holding a wet finger over the screen vents before/after the filter swap just to confirm an increase in airflow.

I like to close off the outside vents so the blower is only pushing air from inside the car - air that has already been warmed up.
I find the blower seems to work faster & you don't need the heat as high.

On my Cargo I only get cold air when switched to recycling. Doesn't seem to pass through the heater at all.
Is this odd for a Dobbie or just Fiat odd?

Apparently Fiat UK are aware of the poor state of the dealer network, and are doing something about it!!
This was explained to me by the new service manager at my dealership, who knows NOTHING about Fiat, becase he is a 'Nissan man'.(It's a a Fiat/Nissan site)
This conversation took place AFTER he had told me that my local dealer no longer has a Parts Dept. If I wanted parts I had to go about 6 miles cross country to their Nissan only dealership, because the Fiat Parts Dept is now there!!
Mind you, since I was last there, about 8 months ago, the Service Manager has changed, one receptionist has been made redundant, along with the Parts Lady, who had been there years, and the other receptionist is at another branch, being 'retrained'.
They are still desparetly trying to keep my business!!!
