hi there,,
i have a 1.9 y reg doblo cargo van i have a problem i hope someone can help me with its drivin me mad :bang:,, when driving if you ease off the accel it starts to judder until ya put ya foot down slightly then it passes its also very sluggish.. also ive been told the fuel filter should always be brimmed to the top, which it isnt ,is this right.... the solenoid on the diesel pump has been replaced and ive put injector cleaner in it ,no difference ..

anyone got any suggestions (y)

thanks
is that the thing down in between the engine and the battery ,with a wired connector on it..

oh forgot to mention .it is intermittant sometimes it is fine ..it seems to me to get worse the longer its running....

Could it be drawing air, seems to be a common symptom. If so a hose change and a Ford filter seems to be the fix.
If it is the diesel pump, then it's a hefty bill.

I've had mine done, and the difference is immense, but costly.

Dont go down the Fuel Pump route unless you are absolutely positive that thats what is causing the problem.... we are having exactly the same trouble as you still!!!! after a new fuel pump has been fitted and various other parts (see my post for help) SPent around £2k so far and the flippin thing is running worse than ever, wont hardly tick over now without being revved up!

If you dont mind me asking, have you had the hose and filter changed on yours? If so, was this done after the fuel pump repair or before?Which Ford filter do you get?
Sorry for the questions but Im really at the end of a very long tether :bang::cry:

The filter and hose was changed as part of the repair. My regular garage has told me that it is a Ford diesel filter, but not which type.
Doblo running beautifully.
