fuel system + injectors clean

Hi, My 51 reg doblo cargo 1.9D is due a good service soon and I was wondering if anybody can suggest a good fuel sytem cleaner as I think the inectors are clogged up, and I got poor acceleration + a lot of smoke coming out of the exaust on start up.

I used to use this in my Surf,

It would pay to change your fuel filter too, refilling it with cleaner then drive it like you nicked it

I use "Millers sport 4" from new and it makes a difference has kept engine in tip top condition.

have you tried one the injector cleaning treatments?

It's called BG 244, according too website its great stuff but they would say that! - has anybody on the forum tried this stuff?

my local mechanice always used to dump a bottle of nitrox injector cleaner in before the mot an then dispatch you to nail it down the local dual carriageway always did the trick for me, but i occasionally tip a redex diesel in my 05 jtd now an that seems to keep things sweet!

i guess it depends just how worn your injectors are really i had a peugeout expert before and mine were shot at 110k pretty good going really for the work it did when i had it!

I always use Diesel Magic. Every 2 or 3 months seems to keep things hunky dorey.

slap in lots of bio diesel it will clean the tank pipes injectors smell better not smoke and be friendly to the environment. Love the stuff, make sure you get good stuff though!

Better check the EGR valve too. Do a search on here.
