General 'Pet' names for our Doblos?

Mine usually gets refered to as "FiFI" or "The Diva". FiFi on account of the registration which is **51 FFY. "The Diva" on account of recent starting problems when basically it started whenever it liked without rhyme or reason!

Sadly though there is a plan being hatched of selling it and becoming something i thought i'd NEVER become... not only a car owner (van hardcore!) but a FORD owner too

Seems the lass is expecting a seed so i'm pretty much forced to get a 'family' car and on paper the diesel focus estate seems the best buy :yuck:

Goat.

It picked up the name about 18 months ago. Goat is our event support vehicle, so gets to spend lots of time on motorways in Europe, but also gets to cross some of the best roads in Europe. You name the pass, and Goat has probably been over it, generally at pace as well.

Problem is that Goat performs really quite well. It kinda skips along nicely, handles quite nicely, has a decent pace (even up steep passes with a load). Just generally a very competent all round performer. Bit like a goat really.

Hence its name.

Its latest endeavour was towing a car up Stelvio a week ago. And not slowly either much to the surprise of a few people when we overtook them ;)

Well, mine is called....

...let me start with WHY.

I am known to my mates as Doo (long story).

So when I go the Doblo, it was called the Dooblo, obviously

However, after the remap, it was found to be really, really fast.

So it became the Doo Blower :D

Suits it.

It also gets called the Popemobile, the Hearse and the green house :p

I've decided to defend mine from the non functional wee wee takers - I've named it 'Diablo'. Just got to find some Lamborghini badges to replace the Fiat ones.

Some people don't know what they are missing, my son in law for one. He's on the lookout for a Ford Connect van so he can get a couple of small scrambler bikes in the back for his and my grandsons play days. I've told him to go for a Doblo Highroof with wheelchair conversion. He's reply was he wouldn't be seen dead in a Doblo. Wait still he starts whinging that he's hurt this and pulled that getting the bikes in and out whereas he could have had an easy option of using a ramp. Bloody kids, he'll learn.

Mine has been subject to all sorts of "pet names" from people with various levels of political correctness, spaz-mobile is probably the kindest thus far. My brother calls it the Blood car, great spot of the anagram !

Dob-row is what I refer to it as, as I just cannot take it seriously.
