aftermarket cd tuner fitting

Just wondering if anyone has bought and fitted an upgrade to the doblos ICE.

getting a bit fed up of resetting the volume after everytime i switch off the ignition, my 06 cd tuner defaults back to 25 level which only dogs and babies can hear

Can you just buy a new head unit and swap over or will I need a fashia adaptor!!

there are at least one or two threads all about this as some cd tuners don't quite fit length ways.
You don't need any sort of blanking plate for the fascia and some cd tuners will go straight in. Mine did and it's a JVC.
Did a quick search and came up with this thread;

Some radios require you to swap the red and yellow wires so you don't lose the settings when you turn the ignition off, like the JVC.

Re: aftermarket cd tuner fitting

i have fitted a kenwood cd headunit to my dobbin and a parrot bluetooth kit which is all wired into the headunit and it fits!!

if you want to keep the memory change over the postive feed on the headunit wiring harness (on kenwoods), theres 2 tails, one for each set up and it will keep its memory then
