I GOT A DOBLO HI ROOF, WITH A GLASS WINDOW IN THE ROOF, ABOVE THE MAIN WINDSCREEN.... I THOUGHT THESE WERE STANDARD FACTORY MADE FROM FIAT..... HOWEVER TODAY SOME LOVELY KIDS DIDN'T LIKE THE GLASS AND HAVE PUT A BRICK THROUGH IT!

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW I CAN GET A REPLACEMENT GLASS?? I HAVE SPOKEN TO WINDSCREEN PEOPLE, WHO WILL FIT A NEW ONE, BUT CANT PURCHASE THE GLASS.... I HAVE SPOKEN TO FIAT DEALER WHO SAYS VEHICLE IS CONVERTED ONCE IT CAME OUT OF FACTORY SO THEY DONT SELL REPLACEMENT GLASS... IS THIS CORRECT? YOU CANNOT BELIEVE HOW FRUSTRATED I AM.... STILL GOT LOVELY PICTURE OF KIDS ON CCTV, WHICH SHOULD MAKE THEM HAPPY AS THE NONCES ARE WEARING THEIR SCHOOL UNIFORM:bang:

I thought the high roof was a Fiat option as was listed in the brochure when I bought mine, maybe yours was converted after it was bought like the dealer said.
Can't Autoglass or someone like that get a piece made to fit?

If it's just a piece of glass held in by a grooved piece of rubber, why don't you nip down the local DiY emporium & buy a piece of thick perspex & cut to size? Put a piece of cardboard behind the rubber & draw around it then cut out the cardboard to fit & use as your template.
I imagine that as this is an after market jobbie you'll be looking at big money for a custom made bit of glass - not too bad if the little scroats are buying it for you but my guess is that these toerags will be fireproof (and they all seem to know it).
If you have them on CCTV, you could go through your insurance, make sure they know you aren't prepared to pay any excess & expect the kids or their parents to bear the full cost of replacement. Police tend to take the easiest approach these days (usually telling you there's nothing they can do as the kids are too young/not identifiable etc) but an insurance company won't be so forgiving.

Try the following sites that lists "wheelchair access" Dobbins that have, (or convert to ) high roof spec...........mobility-centre.com or automotivegroup.com They may be able to supply or fit the glass.

I have the same high roof and a big crack through it and can't find a replacement

I was looking at mine, it curves both horizontally and vertically so a flat bit of glass isnt going to fit.

See if you can buy a window from a breakers yard but be carefull they are bonded in maybe someone on ebay might be able to sell you one I do know they come out fairly easy by cutting them out as I've taken one out b4 and posted it to some1 b4
