Re: Welsh club 2014 (revival)

Are the DRLs like a standard bulb in the headlight unit on the Bravo? Did you choose a particular bulb as an upgrade?

What's the crack with the clay bar is it a regular use item,I thought I saw somebody post to use it twice a year?:what:

You can use it as often as you want, doesn't add anything to the paint like wax just removes impurities :)) I do mine about once a month

I may give it a whirl then cheers bennycovelly :D

I usually use snow foam first then give it a spray off, then use autoglym conditioner and shampoo,
autoglym polish resin after that,

and for the wheels
Autoglym wheel cleaner
Then the protector
And tyre cleaner

Btw top tip don't leave your wiper arms up when cleaning the car... I learnt that lesson on a 6months old M3 :( haha

Yeah mate its quality but I got the snow foam gun off ebay it's a beast robust gun, what's the deal with the wipers?
If anything tip for bravo don't know bout punto but when chamois your car I open the boot so the water runs out from behind the back window otherwise you drive off and the water runs down your lovely dry clean car

Yeah same with the punto about the boot, ah when I first started valeting I did an M3, put wipers up to clean it, wind caught it and smashed both wipers into screen... New screen, angry boss angry owner lol

You only really need to do it once a year. But you can use it as much as you like. Typically a clay bar is only good for about four cars worth. After that it becomes too saturated with grime to become affective. Thier awesome at removing tar and tree sap. Some use a special lubricant to help aid the bar as it wipes over the body work but I just use the suds and water (y)

Once you use one, you'll never look back :D

All looking good Gents, this thread and the cars, I've used clay not long ago and it was unreal how much it picked up you feel like you've never washed a car properly before it. My birthday today so my Missus has bought me the meguiars DA power system so going to polish and ultimate compound the punto and post the results on here, I also put 35mm apex lowering springs on it yesterday with new top mounts so will put a picture up of it lowered when it settles and a good picture place arrives
