I changed the pump to a Volvo 850R (wich should manage up to 350 bhp), but still the same problem! Where exact was this sealing of yours that had a crack in it, on the pump or the hoses around it?

What symptoms did you have, my car runs smoothly and until I press the gas pedal and pass around 2500 rpm..

Mine had a misfire but not until about 4500 rpm.

It was also difficult to start when the car had been left for a few hours. This was because fuel was returning to the tank and not keeping pressure in the pipe. I had to turn to engine over for about 5 seconds or turn the ignition on and off a few times to prime the system and pressurise the pipe.

The copper sealing washers are either side of the banjo bolt that connects the Pipe Coil Damper to the pump. The damper is item #5 in the first diagram.

They are also shown on the Fiat parts microfiche. The turbo pump is the one on the left side of the microfiche.

I have used a BMW 520 "E28" Pump as a replacement for the original Webber pump, working perfectly. (Croma 1989 2.0ie)

I have just placed it ibnto the same housing.....

Q: I might like to replace some parts "mechanical", is there a way to reach someone selling them in good shape for the same car model online?
