hi, guys, i need some help here:
i want to put a Fiat 2.0 TC in my Lada Niva, and I bought a 2.0 CHT from a Fiat Croma (engine #: 154C5000) with 98 Hp and 172 nm torque
My question: since this engine comes out of a front wheel drive vehicle the ignition distributor is located on one of the cam chafts. That's not possible for my niva because the distributor will not fit in the body of my car. is it possible to put a distributor from an older engine (from 131 TC 2.0) in to the engine block? The hole is there, but is there also a drive mechanism?
question 2: has the CHT mechanism any advantage or should i put a regular inlet magnifolt on the engine?
please help me out here
