ABS unavailable
ESP unavailable

Can anyone tell me if they experience the same problemes as my and what can be the problem?
Thank you :)

Hi,
What engine do you have?
While the ABS,ESP and Hill Holder may be related, the Airbag is separate. A bit of history would be useful. Has any work been done on the car recently? Have you had any other problems recently?
With only the dashboard errors to go on, the only suggestion would be a poor battery. A weak battery can cause lots of problems. Ideally you should have the fault codes read (and reset) with Multiecuscan or by a Fiat specialist before doing anything else. If that is not easy for you to do, try doing 3 short trips (a few 100 meters is enough) stopping the engine and removing the key after each one and see if that clears the faults. If not disconnect the battery for half an hour and then reconnect it.

The engine is 1.9 jtdm 150 hp no work was done at the car.I parked the car in the evening and the next day when i started the engine this faults appearead on the dashboard.

The faults still showing i dont know how old is the battery i bought the car last year from a "friend" he told me that the battery was replaced one year before i bought the car.
I discovered a new thing the remote control works intermitent when doesnt work i have to use the metalic key and after i open the door works fine.
I recent replace the alternator with a brand new one.

When the alternator died the car was powered from the battery and no faults apearred on the dashboar.
The alternator was changed in september last year.

Hi,
You will have to get the fault codes read and reset before doing anything else. If you do your own repairs I highly recommend Multiecuscan which requires a laptop and ELM 327 interface.
www.multiecuscan.net
If not, you could get a garage to do it for you or possibly use a cheap hand-held code reader from ebay or amazon. I''ve not bought any of the hand-held readers so can't recommend one. see this thread

Hello Santo23,

I have a similar car and had the ABS-ESP-Hillholder error a while ago. Turned out to be caused by a faulty ABS wire harness at the rear. I located the problem with a laptop, Multiecuscan and ELM 327. The "green" adapter was needed between the ELM and the OBD socket to access the ABS system. Multiecuscan showed the error code (no signal from right rear wheel ABS sensor) and while driving it claimed that the right real wheel does not rotate at all :-/ A garage was able to make a temporary fix by soldering the broken wire but I asked them to order a new harness and install it. Not cheap (harness 170€ + labour) but now it should last as long as I'm about to keep this car.

Hey
Sorry i didnt respond early.i managed to buy a second hand airbag ecu i change it and it works perfectly.
The abs sensor need to be replaced but he comes wit the bearing not separately.
I have another intemitent problem with the central locking sometime works perfect and sometimes i have to use the metalic key to open the door. After i open the door when i pres the remote button works perfect.
Can you give me and advice where to look?

And what possibily might be the problem?
What should i check? On the tester no errors were showed.
Where is the central locking module?
