Hi, for all you other Croma lovers, here are some pictures of my new 2.4 Prestigio. I have had 2 other Croma 1.9 multijets, but it took me about 4 years to find a red 2.4 with the beige leather interior, which was exactly the combination I wanted. It also has the Dolce Vita Pack inc heated seats, Xenon lights, rain sensor wipers, dust sensor lights, electrically folding mirrors & rear side airbags.

So I think Buster, Greg123 and Yampug also have 2.4's, but who else on here has a 2.4 ?

On the stereo on these is it Black or Grey ?

As looking as trying to use the volume button on one of these for my Fiat Idea Stereo. But can't tell from the Ebay pictures what colour these systems are.

That is absolutley beautiful, cracking spec too.

The 2.4 is or seems a lot more lazy,in all honesty i dont think there would be much between a 150hp 1.9 and a 200hp 2.4.For sure the 1.9 feels a lot sharper where as the 2.4 feels like a catapult with no lag what so ever.

Gorgeous,I have never seen one in the flesh, but this looks fantastic!

Hi, the 1.9 150 m/Jet auto's were too slow for me. I much prefer the 2.4, it has far more mid range punch for safe overtaking. I am 51, so not a boy racer, but I am used to driving a 4.7 V8 265 bhp Jeep Grand Cherokee and a 1.9 JTD Stilo estate (re-mapped to 157bhp) which I still love. I just don't understand why they never sold more Croma 2.4's. I guess its because no private buyer would risk the high depreciation and for company cars they were expensive on income tax and expensive to lease.

Re 17/18" wheels - well TBH Croma's with std suspension don't handle very well on either, the 18" wheels with 45 profile tyres don't offer very good ride comfort over pot holes, but its better than my stilo on 17" wheels and 45 series tyres.

The roof works, but as is normal for Croma's, unless the runners have been lubricated its slow closing, or needs a helping hand.

Radio front is black. I will try and clean it again ASAP and get some photo's.

I am planning on taking it up to the Italian Masters near Stafford, I think the date of the event has changed from 15th April to 2nd July, if any other Fiat Forum members would like to meet up.

Keep an eye open on the Midlands Italia thread as a few of us meet up every few months. Did one just the other week over at Hatton Locks.

If this works, here are as requested some more photos after I cleaned it today. I also lubricated the sunroof runners, cleaned the EGR valve and installed a bullet plate on it.

I lost the yellow sliding locking clip on the EGR electrical connector and have found it impossible to get another. Anybody have a spare or know anyway of getting another ? Thx David

The 2.4 are like rocking horse poo in UK. Been looking for awhile.
I think the Croma was an underestimated car IMO. Should of sold alot better.
The engine can be live mapped nicely.
Always a fan of 5 cylinder engines!

Thats with the dpf removed, the kkk is useless and the autobox has a low torque limit.
